are you sure you want to do this?...be very sure, for there is no going back once you start.
strip finish off wood with stripper from paint store. then sand and steel wool wood clean,
restain to taste
finish with one coat of sanding sealer (and sand AGAIN) and two coats of furniture lacquer.
do not have it dipped to strip it...dipping disolves the glues in the joints and veneers and it will fall apart in less than a year....for true it will, anyone sez different is not speaking the truth.
