antique barber chairs to sell?
I was wandering if any of you can give tips on how to sell 2 antique barber chairs in London, I wrote to auctions with little response and I was wandering if there are business out there who would normally buy this things.Any idea or web site to look at?tnx
Ps please I don't need opinion on spelling nor any other opinion on any other matter, thanks
I am the kind of person who would buy such a thing! I missed out on a fantastic dentist chair once, you could see if there are any antiques barns that might sell them on commision for you or get in touch with a TV/theatre props company, they might be interested. it depends on the condition and materials, but they make fabulous statement pieces in minimal interiors - local interior decorators, maybe? I think you may have to hit the phone, rather than websites. It depends where you live but there is a place near me (Les Oakes) in Staffordshire, which sells all manner of salvage and odd items so architectural salvage yards/warehouses, pubs possibly - if you have any quirky ones nearby.
