First time to europe for 3 weeks?
Guys, I'm planning to travel to Europe in April 2011 for about 3 weeks , it will be my first time to Europe ever. Any suggestions?
Here's what in my mind...
Spain (Madrid, Barcelona)
France (Paris)
Holland (Amsterdam and Rotterdam)
Belgium (Brussel)
Italy (Rome, Milan, Florence, Venezia)
Swiss (Zurich)
I purposely left England and Germany out because I don't think I have enough time to cover them all...
What do you guys think? Any tips or suggestion? I'm more into architecture stuff and antique/market shopping (not branded stuff)...
Thanks
How fun! You are spending 21 days and seeing 11 cities. Obviously, how you budget your time is dependent on your own interests, but if it were me, I would drop off Belgium and Holland completely in favor of London. I agree that you can't see all of England in the time frame you're in, but you can see some of London. It's a short trip from Paris and definitely worth the time. I would spend 3 days in London, 3 days in Paris, 3 days in Spain, 3 days in Switzerland, not in Zurich but in the Bern Oberland, and the rest in Italy. You will lose 2 days traveling - one getting to Switzerland and the other getting to Italy.
Any way you do it, you will have a wonderful time.
