Who would buy an antique high chair?
I have a high chair that is in pretty decent shape but it's about 50 years old. I'ts solid oak wood and even has the mfg name tag still on the back of the chair. Is there any places I could take this and get some money for it? I don't even know how much if anything this would be worth.
I'm in the western suburbs of Chicago, IL.
Thanks!
Yes, like person above me said try Antique Road Show or take it up to a furniture store and ask if one of the specialists can take a look. You can also try an antique or pawn shop. Or, type in on google,
" oak wood antique high chair "
and see what results come up. Maybe if this is it or somewhere close http://www.bargainjohn.com/c169cHighChair.htm try calling the seller and asking what they priced it at, where they got it looked at, or if they are specialists, ask if you can email some pictures and they can see what they think.
